HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY, ANGELES CITY— Excellence, development and improvement are the potent factors why the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Program of Holy Angel University aim for an international accreditation.
On December 5-7, visitors from the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC) from United States had the chance to have a look and check the facilities of the BA Comm Program in HAU as well as how it works and being administered.
During the last day of visitation of the accreditors, the BA Comm students prepared a news program to show to the visitors how it is done by the students and for them to witness what are the equipment inside the studio. Dr. Susanne Marie Shaw said, that the presentation was impressive. Afterwards, Dr. Hugo Wilbert Norton Jr. also expressed his amazement and applause to the students plus the equipment.
Moreover, the accreditors went ahead to the Angel Network Station to see the facilities, meet the Disk Jockey's and had an interview with them. Dr. Norton, talked about how enthusiastic and good the Communication students of Holy Angel University are. Meanwhile, Dr. Shaw chose not to join in the interview for her to take a rest due to her unexpected minor accident inside the broadcast studio.
According to one of the Disk Jockey's, DJ Lianne Kiara Perez, "it was an honor to meet and have a conversation with one of the accreditors, it was once in a lifetime and something that a Communication student should be proud of" as she gets emotional after the said interview with Dr. Norton.
The BA Communication program of Holy Angel University has always been true to its vision on development and adhering to the best quality of education they can offer to the students. The said accreditation involves different processes that is why the school continuously working to achieve the International Accreditation from ACEJMC.
