Angel Radio flew its flight back as Angel Network!
Holy Angel University's official radio station, Angel Radio 97.5, has rebranded into a multimedia network which was formally introduced as Angel Network 97.5 still bearing its tagline, "Always by your side".
This initiative of the Communication Department as recommended by Mr. Robert P. Tantingco, Vice President for Student Services and Affairs, was to turn the station into a multimedia platform since its airing can be streamed online.
"In this way, mas makikilala ang station ng HAU [Holy Angel University] not only inside the university, but also outside since it will be available online. It can therefore reach a wider audience," as stated by Queenly Quizon, head of Angel Network, when asked about the goal of the rebranding of the station.
As part of the introduction of the new network, a Grand Launching Concert, spearheaded by the Communicators' League, was held on November 27 at the University Piazza. The new logo and jingle of the network were formally presented on the said event along with the new disc jockeys which were all initially assessed for the network.
Before the rebirth of Angel Network 97.5, it can be remembered that Angel Radio was last aired last year. The station's soft airing was on December 3.
